Technology and Innovation Support Centres (TISC)

Proceeding from the Saudi Patent Office (SPO) vision, which aims to encourage innovation and economic growth in Saudi Arabia, as well as contribute to the implementation of the national plan programs for science, technology and innovation through localization and technical development.

The Saudi Patent Office (SPO) seeks to create and develop technology and innovation support centres and a network that links between these centres in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, an agreement has been reached between the Saudi Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) for the establishment and support of technology and innovation centres in Saudi Arabia.

This agreement aims to provide a variety of services including :

• Strengthen national capacities and infrastructure in the field of intellectual property.
• Providing advisory and technical services to Technology and Innovation Support Centres.
• Assist in the promotion of innovation and Technological development in Saudi Arabia.
• Assist in the provision of technical information to beneficiaries.
